So my Potassium level came back at the high end of borderline 5.5 and they say Potassium maintains a very tight range and any excess is harmful to your heart, above 6 is emergency. It was 4.5 when i was diagnosed with D2 in last Dec.
I have been eating a LOT of green leafy veggies, broccoli, Kale, all full in Potassium including fish and seeds. I am also taking two pills of Alpha Lipoic Acid with Evening Primrose Oil as supplement and Vit D3 10,000 units a day or every other day. Can these supplements mess up with electrolytes ? Any thoughts? I am trying to reduce dietary Potassium a bit to see how it affects next labs.
As always appreciated your help and time.
