so i had to change my canulla today and my sugars was already a bit high, so did correction checked a hour later no change, i obviously knew it was the canulla so did a pen correction and rechanged canulla the pen insulin seems to be running out now been 3+ hours but my sugars are stil 11 and not dropping could it be this canulla and should i do another one? :[

I'd change the cannula and the insulin you're using in your pump, just to be safe.

If your BS was very high, it can take a while to come down.

it was 19, so i did a correction with a pen, as the first correction on pump didn't work.
i've changed insulin in pump canulla and tubeing :> itsn ow 8.7 the pen correction should have finished by now 10:30 usally lasts 4 hours so hoping this set change is working will keep a eye on them for a while though

I find that sugars above 11 or 12 need a larger correction and take longer to come down too.

Glad things have improved now :)
