I have been type 2 for about 7 years now and been tablet controlled until about a month ago when I was started on Insulin twice a day - started on 15 (am) & 20 (pm) and now on 20 (am) & 18 (pm).
I know I have been eating slightly more during the Christmas period but my blood suagrs seem to be getting higher instead of lower and this evening, 2 hrs after evening meal it's showing 19.6!!! I feel absolutely fine but really don't understand what's happening.

I don't think i can really help to give you some advise as at the moment Im on metformin.
Do you keep a food diary and time of when you eat etc? i find that I can pretty much figure out what helps and not the BG using that information when I test my blood before meals and before bed. I can pretty much guess it will be high when etc too, so might be worth doing something like this and see the docs?
