[QUOTiam 55 now="Leekoo, post: 515222, member: 33106"]I was 6 month old when I was diagnosed with disabilities my blood can go up to 20 30 some of this can be illness or medication its not just food[/QUOTE]
Ps I am 55 nowu

The highest my blood count was 42.5 I felt sick for hours and I was taking all my meds and insulin this happen regular to me always running high from 9.3-40s I have a few time dropped to 2.7-3.5 but on occasion now I get a lot of like fog when I look out my eyes been for eye test there is issues but nothing they can at this time I feel like I am let down by doctors and other sho can give me more help like gastric band to help me but would also cut the cost for MHD medications

Does seem to vary a lot depending on who your doctor is.From what I read on here I should be classed as diabetic, but the doc says not, and who am I to argue. Been diet controlled for 5 years. Listen more to the advice on here than what the doc says. Highest recorded Bg was 12.8. Flaming mince pie at Christmas. An experiment I will not be repeating

As long as my BS are in single numbers I am happy, I see some people complaining if their's is 6.4, 7.9, etc. these readings are great.
I think sometimes we try to aim too low. Whenever I go to my Doctor, or Diabetic nurse, they complain more if they see a 2.4 reading in my diary than they do if they see a 13.5, I would have thought it would be the other way round.
As we all know it can be very annoying/distressing/frustrating and I, in my 29 years of having diabetes, have on umpteen occasions stopped checking my BS for a few years at a time. I am currently checking it twice a day (that's enough as far as i'm concerned) and it seems not too bad.
I got my HBa1c last week and it was 7.7, I was very pleased with that, it's the best it's been for ages :)

I wouldn't be too worried about 9 at the one hour point but I also wouldn't leave it to come down naturally either. I would do some exercise (10 mins) and it would be down in the 5's. Generally I peak up to 8.5 but every now and then I may go into the 9's at one hour but I am generally below 6 at 2 hours. You do not say how long after eating you took the tests.

Well I was actuali at the doctors wit her urine sample( I thought she mayb had an infection r sumting)and she was at school they wur like go get her immediately we had no clue other than peein a lot but she never complained of anyting aside from that lol
