For a number of years I have suffered with ovarian cysts and recently noticed an increase so wandered around to net doctor and found this

Which was of great interest to me especially the link with diabetes. Then a little bit more snuffling I found this. Appointment made as the facial hair is one of my greatest upsets.

Just sometimes have problems dealing with the pain. Its really bad at the moment cannot even exercise :(
 
Awww cavelioness, you poor baby, I really do feel for you, which painkilling medication are you taking? You probably need something stronger than what you are taking now?

Incidentally the Vaniqa cream seems to work quite well, I have a colleague and a cousin who are both using the cream at the moment.

paracetamol and a hot water bottle are my usual aids. Dr not helpful at all in this matter really. She is away on holiday soon so will try with replacement.
Did have extra oestrogen for a time in holland but side affects werent great.
 
Ah paracetamol wont deal with that kind of pain, you might as well take smarties! I found Naproxen helped me most, you really have to go back to that doctor, if she/he is not being helpful then see another doctor, also ask for a referral to an endocrinologist to hopefully help sort out your problems re pcos and excessive hair growth.
You do need help and you have deserved it too, so go out there and demand it.

So good to see you back Karen. Have to go to dentist on monday so will make an appointment with new doctor then.
 
Yes best way to make an appointment, it sounds to me as if you are suffering there more or less on your own, I hope the dentist is not going to torture you on top of it all, gosh you really are in the wars huh?
