Holy smoke, why can't we all just get along?

I do not have diabetes
So I've added some rules to the low-carb/non low-carb forum, which sucks, because this place isn't supposed to be about rules.

I think I've had 1000 pms in the last week. They generally say 'so and so said this' or 'xxxxx is out of line' - this is an internet forum, people say bad things sometimes. Disagreements are not going to go away. But please can we all try and make this week ahead a calm and helpful one...

Yours under siege,

Admin

Hi

This forum has changed since i joined, so i rarely post now its not worth the hassle

At the end of the day where all adults and should treat ppl as we wish to be treated and acknowledge that we all hav different opinions otherwise the world would be a boring place!!!!!

I think the admin and the mods need to hav riot gear added to their lists requirement lists lol

OMG. I feel for you. Being caught in the middle must be very time-consuming and frustrating for you.I must be lucky because I've only ever had helpful p.m.'s from folks on the forum. Even when I've disagreed with someone, we've sorted it amicably.
Life would be dull if we all agreed with each other all of the time and I do believe healthy discussion is good. It's how we learn. Having said that, there is a fine line between healthy discussion and antagonising discussion. I'm sure I speak for the majority in asking if we can stick to the former, for the sanity of all members, moderators and our hard-working administrator!
