Hi everyone.
I'm a type 1 and was diagnosed 7 years ago in October. I've had really bad control and my Hba1C have shown this. I went to see a diabetes specialist on carb counting a few weeks ago , as I've had problems trying to get on to DAFNE in the past (but I'm on DAFNE next week :thumbup: ) and too say I'm over the moon is an understatement. It's been hard work , but if any of you have the chance of getting an insight in to carb counting , then do it , it's worked for me , and others! I'm still working away at it , testing things that spike etc and avoiding them , but waking up in single figures really makes me happy
