Being type 2 or 1 or the other range of diabetes there generally people who are diabetic watch what they eat carbs and refined sugar in drinks so u would think a hospital should have good diabetic food range for u how wrong am I most of the foods on the menu are high in sugar be it the yogurt or the carbs surly theses should not be marked diabetic and to make it worse there is nothing written above me saying I'm diabetic or on door except I'm bio hazard risk lol so keep getting offered sugar in my coffee and I'm sure ive had sugar put in my black coffee because it tastes different than sweetner grump over

Re: Hospital food

The few times I've been in hospital I've had problems with the meals. If I've been confined to bed on a sliding scale an they bring the meals to me there's always a pudding which I can't resist!

And when they bring tea or cereal they offer sugar. I say I can't I'm diabetic they tell me that's what the sliding scales for. And hand me two biscuits! Crazy!
