Hospitalrefused diabetic meds

My glucose level is regularly below 5.5 when I check it in the morning. I'm type 1.

A fasting level below 5.5 would not normally be diagnosed as a diabetic of any kind. Above 5.5 and you would be considered pre-diabetic and over 7 a diabetic.
 
Best thing to do is see your doctor and tell him what happened and for him to ensure the hospital knows your full diabetic history.
Find out what is in your hospital and your GP notes - you're entitled to see them!
Is there proper communication between the GP and the hospital consultant who is doing the surgery.?
 
it is difficult to give a reply to your post as you don't say
what your hb1bc1 is.
i am type 1.
4 inj per day and 5m/mols is very good as this is the target which
i have been told to aim for however i never do manage this mine is never below
6m/mols in the morning.
i can only believe in your case the hospital had good cause in its refusal i
would suggest that you get in contact with your diabetic clinic who may be able to throw some light on the matter

Try talking to the PALS (Patient Liaison Service) at the hospital trust you attend, they give patients advice and try to resolve issues before they become a complaint. They may be able to liaise on your behalf and help you resolve this matter before you go in.
