Husband still doing ok apart from a minor screaming match and some language when he thought his reading was 1.9 and he was dying. (he had the meter upside down ...it was 6.1) :mrgreen:
But he's having what sounds like hot flushes :shock: - says he goes all hot and pours with sweat & feels exhausted. Is this his body reacting to the change of diet ? Or is it something he should see about ?
 
This often happens when your blood sugar rises sharply,often called a 'spike'. Try testing him when he is doing this see what numbers he is going up to.
 
ok thank you, will do that. As far as I know this happens quite a while after he's had anything to eat. I will do this next time it happens and report back his reading.

Oh, how I laughed. Now everyone in the office thinks I'm some kind of nutter... :oops:

This can happen with low blood sugar too. Testing when it happens should provide the answer.
 
the only one who's a nutter is THE ONE I MARRIED :mrgreen: Calm day so far, no drama. Phew. :mrgreen:
