You poor critter. I remember how bad the heat made me feel during my third pregnancy. I couldn't do much at all, spent most of it in hospital than out; stark contrast to my previous experiences!

I've spent the past 3 days moaning about the weather, I keep having cold showers but soon as I'm out I'm roasting again! I've got two little boys and I feel guilty I can't get them out as much as I like, its difficult as I'm dizzy with the heat and feel hypo constantly, so over testing but I don't want to dismiss a possible hypo. Reduced my basal so hoping it helps as I've been eating biscuits all day to chase the hypos, I had forgot how good Fox's crunch creams are lol! Sorry for the ramble

Ladies - A GREAT tip for you 'all' :D

Frio wallets are GREAT to keep your lipsticks/lipgloss in too!
Prevents them from melting in this heat .
Put mine in alongside my insulin pens ...

Anna .

My frio wallet was very warm after two days away. Soaked it in cold water and afterwards it appeared to be leaking a small amount of gel.

Has this happened anyone else?

I was told by the hospital when I started on insulin, just to keep the ones I wasn't using in the fridge, and the pens I am using can be left out, but must be used within 28 days. I wasn't given any advice re hot weather, I use Novorapid and Lantis. What should I do in the current heatwave?

 Ooooh must say haven't heard of this ever happening !

Would advise you to return it - explain all that happened .
See if they will refund/send out a free replacement ?
Worth a 'try' ?

Mine is still going strong and no leaks at all .
So was  to hear about yours leaking etc.

Hope this can help as a suggestion .

I agree, it's very new and obviously faulty. Send it back for a replacement :)
