Hi, I was diagnosed 6 months ago with T2 - I was not overweight, 5 foot 11 inches, 1901bs - Ok, slightly overweight !!! I am a male - I stopped all the carbs and the weight has just dropped off - 30 1bs or so. Now I have lost my bum and my boobs !!! and any fat anywhere. How can I gain some weight, I am struggling to put any back on - sounds like a weird one, but its true.

Thanks for reading,
Chris.

I have the opposite problem, very easy to put weight on despite significant loss.

Nuts, nut butters, cream, high percentage cocoa dark chocolate (85%+) are low carb and don’t negatively impact BG, but eaten in large quantities will lead to me putting on weight. Worth a go?

Thanks, I will add those to the diet, although I do eat a lot of Almonds and Peanuts - Cream and Chocolate it is !!! - thanks again, Chris.

Chris - When, from time to time, I need to gain weigh, I firstly up the protein a but, then the fats in whatever form that takes (crackling, cream oo straightforwardly even fattier meat cuts.

If you're like me, it can take some weeks to see any sustained movement on the scales.

Thanks for getting back on this, protein tonight for sure. Chris.
