Hi, I hope someone could make this a bit clearer for me. I am interested in having a insulin pump but know its down to the individual trust as to whether they allow you to have one. I haven't brought this up with my consultant yet as I want to go armed with all the information possible.
My BG levels are constantly up and down. Even though I eat healthy & exercise frequently. I often have hypos and then rebound. My Hba1c has been over 8 for the last year and at my last blood test in Jan it was 8.5, despite my continuous efforts to bring down my levels and testing at least 4 x a day.
Does anyone know of this would make me a candidate for an insulin pump?
Many thanks
Lou
