Hi
Basicly i hate this humulin i i cant control my sugars i dont understand it and also my dsn want me on this insulin but i cant get the hang of it and everyone i chat with are on lantus and say its so much better but dsn doesnt want me on lantus as am goin to do dafne in feb. I dont no what to do but cant cope anymore with being up and down and not knowing where i stand. I dont even know what timea i should take this.

They put me on humulin first but my Doctor said there is a peak with the humulin where you get the max amount of insulin. Where I take it at bedtime , he was afraid I would drop too low at night . The tried lantus..allergic to it.... Then levemir which is great it has no peaks and keeps things more level. By supper time I am starting to go up and need to address this but I feel better in general . Still feeling my way through this maze of testing eating right and injections. Hopefully will become second nature after awhile. Good luck hope you can get leveled out!!
