How do you get more regular bowel movement?

The 5 minute thing can actually work.

Also the plain milk of magnesia has no carbs but the flavored ones have all kinds of nasties. I would use that in extreme circumstances but best to use sparingly as if you get too cleaned out it can cause bloating and rumbling for the next few days. 2 tablespoons worked great.

Ideally I'd like a weekly clear out before mounting the evil scales!!!

Woop woop! I had a clear out but I think it was only half of what's lurking around! Tummy ache with it

Managed over 2 litres in fluids throughout day so that was another achievement!

Was that milk of magnesia ? Hence my original warning to go slow. Hope the scale came through!

I didn't have a problem before the op used to go 7 Am every morning I put it down to the fact when they implanted the stents every thing got shifted round a bit so some internal organs end up in a slightly different place it may take a while for things to settle down again so I'll keep taking the Fybogel as it's doing the trick for me.;)

After leaving hospital I was having severe problems so took a Senna tablet at bed time twice which got me going again.

I now take Fybogel at bed time though it is recommended for in the morning and the evening, it seems to help keep things moving and is fairly gentle in its action but does take a bit of getting used to.

Tried taking Fybogel twice a day and it seemed to push up my overnight BG, due to one or more of the additives I suspect (and it has a lot). Now trying straight psyllium husk - about 5.8g (Tbsp) in 250ml water as recommended. It's also recommended to have between meals so I take it mid-morning. Not the most enticing of drinks but hoping it will solve the problem.
