I know lots of factors affect our blood sugars. Over the last 18 months my blood sugars have greatly improved partially due to mounjaro and a keto diet. However, I have been struggling the last few months (relationship breakdown, work stress and a double cancer diagnosis for my dad) everything is a little on top of me and I feel like the stress is having a big impact on the numbers. Has anyone else experienced stress having such an impact on your sugars? What helps you to manage your stress?

Emotional stress has had such a bad effect on my bgs ,my wife passed away 5 mths ago and I have only just been getting back some sort of control, I was eating less and losing weight but my bgs were going through the roof .

I am so sorry to hear that and offer my sincerest condolences. I am autistic with ADHD and my emotions and stress levels are constantly playing havoc wit blood sugars. Getting them under control is a full time job.

I find it can get out of my head by really noticing the world around me... the noises, colours, textures, what the weather is like, temperature, shapes... and just feeling my feet on the floor. What is actually going on right where you are, right now.... meditation ‍

I do crosswords. Thus there is a feeling of achievement and a mental workout.
