Well I go moderate carbs on stuff like bread and potatoes I still eat new potatoes and Burgen bread... I don't eat rice or pasta because I don't like them. My problem is I still really don't know how people work out the exact number of carbs that they eat in a day. We are told to test our blood before and 2 hours after meals to see what foods raises our BG to high but short of weighing every little bit of food you eat how do you work out the amount of carbs that you allow yourself. I have the Carbs and Cals book which gives you the amount of carbs in a given portion but how do you know what that portion size looks like on your plate without weighing it
