Hello All,

Hope we are well.

How does a non diabetic person work on the following situation.

If they ate Tuna Mayo on 3 slices of bread nimble.
40 mins later they tested.
Then did an hour of heavy weight training with 10 mins Cardio.
Then 15mins after training they tested again.?
Then 40 mins after that they tested again.

As my results were as follows.

Before food – 5.4mmol
Then ate Tuna Mayo on 3 slices of bread nimble.
40 mins later they tested. 6.0mmol
Then did an hour of heavy weight training with 10 mins Cardio.
Then 15mins after training they tested again. 7.6mmol
Then 40 mins after that they tested again. 5.2mmol

Any ideas guys.

Cheers
Simply.

Hi Simply

The body does not just get glucose from food but also can get it from the liver at times of need. Heavy exercise would cause the liver to do that if existing glucose levels would not support the demand for energy.
