World Diabetes Day (WDD) is celebrated every year on November 14. The issue is a widespread problem in world and there are certain known approach to manage the disease using medicines and general recommendations. However i suppose there are medical doctors who may know the details of interactions but still there is a lack of a model , as it is used in engineering or business management, to be shared with patients. To my understanding if you can not simply explain a problem you donot it.

The following is my understanding for a diabetes problem which i tried to model for myself, applied and verified , at least for me. I suppose it may work for many people identified as diabetes II victim.
This is my interpretation of the problem and possible approaches to manage it. I lowered the blood sugar level to its standard level by this method without using medicine.

Case Study: A lean perspective of Diabetes treatment (type II Diabetics)

Conclusion: the standard procedure for the case can be developed which includes a) morning workout b) reduce the carb level in each meal c) reduce the size of meal in each eating cycle and reducing the time interval d) no eat until real hunger, pull demand mechanism. (see Figure 1)

However most of the above recommendations are suggested by medical science but lacking a systematic approach, and awareness of the improvement process on lean concepts defined, the treatment or preventive approach is not effectively applied.

HI. I agree with most of what you say but sadly the medical profession in the UK and many other countries often doesn't understand the importance of carbs and the effect on diabetes. This ignorance is aided by the food industry and the pharmaceutical industry who stand to gain in various ways. Until the 'Eat-well-plate' is abolished and a lower daily calorie intake set for food intake then not much will change. Sadly all we hear is have less fat, less salt and more statins. Personally I think World Diabetes Day is a farce until there are a lot of changes.
