How has your day ( and your diabetes) been ?

By the looks of things there's a few of us need to review our basal insulin, as the weather gets warmer its quite common for insulin requirements to go down.

Hell yeah.. The past couple of weeks I have had consistent morning hypos on waking.. Cut back on the basal about 5 days ago with more testing than usual, & all is cool..

Incidentally, my day ended strangely after a gig last night when me & the drummer was approached by a couple of dead ringer for Nigella Lawson types...
Apart from my wife not being too happy I couldn't help thinking their "game plan" was to take us back to a large well equipped kitchen & russel up some high carb hash cakes....:D:eek:

better today, gave myself my morning bolus and then waited 15 minutes before eating. Very tempted to just dive straight in.

Result - pre 6.1, +2hours 5.3

So dosage perfect, just the timing to get right.

Woke up to 6.6 this morning :-) but then at 10.30, 3.4:banghead: even though I had 2 small pieces of GF toast( which is more than I usually have, carb wise) and 1 1/2 units. Anyhow, we had a lovely day out feeding the ducks, picnic lunch and a little shopping, bus home and enjoying the day ( even managed to find some Polish GF sausages)and no tearing about from one job to another, lovely:D

I will be. I'm just waiting to see if the weather stays warm. It seems to change all the time at the moment!

I will just have to put my basal rate down by 10% using the exercise function for now.
