I am fairly well controlled ranging from 4 to 7.5 most of the time. I take novarapid and lantus. 8 units lantus at night at the moment, for the life of me I can't remember taking lantus before bed last night, how high would my BS go if I gave forgotten???

Probably a lot higher than 7,5mmol, if you've not had to do correction doses today then its likely you did take your lantus last night.

Woke up to 14.5 this morning, have taken 3 correction doses today, mmmmm think I might have forgotten it last night!!!!

Sounds like you did. You could get a NovoPen Echo for your Levemir with a dose/time memory.

I might do that, this is the first one I have missed but don't like the not knowing for sure

It happens to all of us. Its better not to take it than take it twice. Pen with timers are perfect for that. I loved my echo pen

Says it all then, it is annoying when this happens but everyone forgets.

My BS shoots up to 19 plus if I forget and that's happened a few times now so I should think about getting timers on pens

Only 14? Mine shoots right up to around 22 if I haven't taken my Lantus! I also can't believe your only on 8, I'm on 34!!

Haha I wish mine only shot up that much. If I didn't do mine I think I'd be in the late 20's. I only do 18 units (only in the morning though)
