How long can you stay in remission with ketosis prone type 2 diabetes?

Thank you - I've found several papers referring to this now. There may be people on here with experience as it seems to be at least in the same area as "Type 1.5" - it's not anything I know about or have experience of.
 
I've had type 2 for 15 years and was about to start insulin injection. I pleaded with my specialist for another 3 myths to lose more weight and get my hba1c down from 8.9 to below 7.0. Trying hard I don't really want to have to take insulin if I can help it.
 
Welcome. What meds are you on and how are you trying to reduce bgl?

Most type 2 in here use low carbohydrates very successfully to do both. That’s all carbs of all colours, none of this brown is ok myth. Have a read of these posts and their links and you’ll have a good idea how we manage our diabetes
