I have been diagnosed with type 1 diabetes for over 6 months now and haven't gone low or felt funny while high when I have spoken to the diabetic clinic they have put it down to this honeymoon period so how long did yours last?

Hi, I think I am coming to the end of mine after a year as I have just doubled my insulin to carb ratio as my readings are regularly exceeding 10mmol. Have always given very small doses of insulin and suffered hypos. Any high sugars would usually recover at the next meal for me.

I never believed the specialists due to the great readings.

I do 50 mins of fast pace walking per day and occasional resistance training. I often think this may have helped!

I'm still in my honeymoon period been nearly a year now. I go low quite often, they say I'm really sensitive to insulin. My honeymoon is showing no signs of ending anytime soon

I THINK my honeymoon has ended. Bolus ratios remained low but basal needs have doubled, however it's still low at 5.5u per day. Endo isn't sure if I'm in it or not
