How much insulin do you use?

I know this is a bit like a piece of string question. I'm more trying to find where I fit in the world of type 2 insulin usage - do I inject a little or a lot? I pretty much self taught myself on dosages, my DSN and GP being happy with my HbA1c and not wishing to change things.

I use 40u levemir and 30u Novorapid daily. weight 91kg (put on lots since going onto insulin).

Levemir. 40u. I split this to 3 injections of 16u, 12u then 12u. Anyone else split Levemir to 3 injections? I know it is unusual, it just suots me to do it that way.

Novorapid. 30u daily, split to 7u am (no carbs) then as and when I eat at 1u to every 5g carbs (about 80g carbs a day)

Hi I'm on week 8/9 on insulin . On insuman long and shortacting. So still learning myself' and battling the weight putting on insulin thing.

I have 24u longacting at night. Trying to get to under 7 readings regularly in the morning. Only get 6's at weekend must be cos I'm not at work lol.
Then 1 to 10 ratio short acting, counting carbs to get the dose. Today I've had 7 units, 2 @ breakfast had Bergen toast for a chAnge, 1@ lunch which was left overs from last nights tea and 4 @ tea which also included an ounce of some roasted peanuts I've nibbled on.

If I put a pound a week on I won't be happy at all but am monitoring it now.
