As a type 1 diabetic and 32nd week into my pregnancy, I am taking 39 units of lantus currently. I wanted to inquire is there any limitation on use of lantus? How much insulin is too much to take during pregnancy?

The safe amount is the amount that keeps your blood sugar at a good level most of the time. There are vast differences in the amounts of insulin needed to do that!
