How much weight did you gain in the first trimester?

I'm only 7w2d and I have already gained 4.5kg! I'm worried that this is an unhealthy amount of weight gain so early in my pregnancy. I have my first appointment on Tuesday so I will talk to the specialists about it then, but in the meantime, how much weight did you gain in the first trimester?

This is from memory so it may not be exact, but I put on something like 12lbs in the first trimester.

Don't worry about weight. I out on lots at the beginning of pregnancy (around 23lbs by 20 wks) but not much at all in the last bit.

Eat well and healthily and trust your body to do the right thing

( and I gave birth last month and have lost loads of weight already, so no lingering effect)

I think I was probably up by 8-10 at the end but I'm only 5' feet tall (I had an appointment near the end of my 1st trimester but not quite at the end). I don't own a scale and have been trying not to stress about it too much. I had a lot of nausea for a bit and eating made it better but it was also hard to force myself to eat.

I feel like I've loaded up on carbs and I know I'm just starting to show but I also feel like I probably put on a few more pounds in the last 2 weeks (15+3 currently). My nausea went away around week 9 but the last 2 days it's been very present unfortunately.

It's such an individual thing, and like azure says, trust your body knows what it's doing. Don't stress too much about comparing yourself to others.
