Type 2 How often and when to test and evening snack

Thanks goodness, that was the one thing she nearly had me running for the hills scared! Quick question, if my bg is 3.9 just as I'm going to bed is that ok?

Is it that low when you go to bed, and if it is, what is it immediately you get out of bed in the morning?

It's been that the last couple of nights and yesterday morning it was 5.9 and this morning was 5.8

This depeends on if you have dawn phenomenon or not, mine is lowest at rising - now usually around 6, but rises to around 8 everyday regardless of food before coming back down around 2 pm

Then you probably have nothing to worry about (unless you felt ill in some way) because your liver brought you back up to where it wanted you to be. There are plenty of people who see levels in the 3s. I wish I were one of them!

great! I've not seen a high reading since meter arrived, but been on the low carb so I assume it's because of that and as I've actually lost weight I'm sticking with it!
