For most of my diabetic life I thought of 4/5 injections a day:
1 or 2 long acting depending on what insulin I was taking
then 3 injections: one for each meal
plus an occasional adjustment measure.
But now as I've really been trying to prevent my bg going high I can inject up to 10 times a day in tiny increments to try and keep my bg in range.
I've seen a lot of people's HB1ac results and I don't think there is anyway I could achieve something like that with 5 injections a day, but injecting and testing so often as the other option is getting quite difficult with work.
