How often do you eat sweet treats ?

More often that I should, especially since I've been working from home, but I can bolus for it so its all good - though I may be putting on weight ..... (my fridge is 10ft from my desk)

I tend not to, not because of any noble reason but to eat 2 biscuits for example, would amount to around 30 carbs and I would need to take a unit or 2 of insulin. That means I would then have to think about insulin etc in between meals when thinking about it at meal times is bad enough.

If you want a fast treat, Google keto chocolate mug cake. Split the mixture into 2 ramekins. Nuke for 90 seconds, serve with double cream.

Hi,

If it's a biscuit. I'll have a digestive to catch or follow up on a basal low.

I eat what I want and inject insulin.
I am lucky not to have to worry about my weight so only need to focus on my blood sugars. I have plenty of practice knowing how much insulin to take and when so do not see any reason why I should not enjoy the food I enjoy.
This does not mean I stuff myself with sugar and chocolates and loads of carbs but some may consider my daily breakfast of fruit salad a treat or the biscuit that I have with tea a treat or the cake that I bake every few weeks is a treat.
I do not want to think about food as treats because that leads to good and bad food and bad food leads to guilt.
