I was diagnosed earlier in the summer. I’ve not heard a peep from my DN or GP since July. How often should I hear from them or see them? Have had eye and foot tests elsewhere. Thanks

The general rule is a blood test 3 months following diagnosis with a medication review (if appropriate). Then it depends on how you are doing and your own GP practice. NICE says a review should happen at least 6 monthly until such time as blood sugars are stable and reasonable, and medication is also stable. After that it could be annually depending on your Practice.

If I were you I would give your surgery a ring to make sure you haven't slipped through the net.

Thanks. I’ve had another Hba1c but via the hospital and GP copied in. It was excellent but just thought I’d have heard something. I guess they may be busy and think I’m doing fine. I’ll give them a call to check.
