How soon does Sitagliptin work?

Sitagliptin is an inhibitor used to lower blood glucose levels.
If after a few weeks it does not lower your bloods, speak to your GP.
There are other inhibitors that the doctor could prescribe to suit you.
If you have the post that daisy1 sent you, you could be still eating too many carbs, which will help with the way sitagliptin works.
I have been taking the drug for over two years and have no side effects at all. My dosage had to be adjusted to be effective.
