Just had my annual blood test. - Am usually asked about my weight and BP, and have my feet examined. None of that today - just the blood draw.

Don't you have an appointment with the appropriate person -DN/GP to discuss your results? My blood tests are done at the local clinic (easier for me) then I have a review appointment with my DN once the surgery has received my results, when BP, weight, foot check etc are done
 
Usually have appt with DN but none offered yesterday. However have GP Appt -rare as hens' teeth- next week.GP requested it. Hospital requested monitoring of blood calcium levels - message was not passed on to GP Surgery, so I have requested it.
 
I'm told to "talk to Doctor" when I have my appointment. As he and I have never met, it's going to be.....interesting.
