Type 2 How to lose weight on HFLC

@Cana I usually have salad when out with friends or a naked burger with salad or an all day breakfast without beans, hash browns etc.

Main meal isn’t really problem it’s the lunches. Everywhere is just bread etc.

Wouldn't any of @Daphne917 's suggestions suit at lunchtime? Are you worried folks will think that your choices aren't "proper" lunch fare?
 
@Cana Are you sure that you are getting enough salts?
One thing that can give me a boost (especially after fasting) is a stock cube dissolved in hot water with a knob of butter added.
If you are eating low carbohydrate you need to increase your salt intake.

No it’s just we ia usually go to costa or Nero etc.

Proper food is where we go for dinner in the evening which is a lot easier.

I might take a couple tins of tuna I have and have that instead.

I eat bacon every morning albeit unsalted. I detest salty food. Makes me ridiculously thirsty fir hours after.

Not really sure how to get more salt in food because I don’t like salt

If you put a pinch in coffee you can't taste it. Give it a whirl?

Those could be a couple of options, without troubling the sandwich options.

Caffe Nero has a salad bowl. There's no protein in it, but it's a non-sarnie option.

One of those options, plus a drink would easily see me through. (I'd swerve the tomato soup as they usually taste quite sweet to me, but that's just me.)

So how much salt is needed to be added? How do I know if I have enough salt in me?
