How to move Lantus from am to pm

Does anyone have any advice on how I move my lantus injection from morning to night?

I'm experiencing high BG's in morning. With 27 units I go hypo. With 26 I go high due tor 'running out'. From various readings it would appear Lantus does have slight peaks and thsi problem can be solved by injecting at night.

However, I'm not sure how to move it as I obviously can't just miss it one morning. Do I do half in morning half in evening one day and then following day just at night?

Am waiting for a call from Diabetes nurse but can't cope with these highs and disrupted nights much longer.

That's the way I would do it, as you know things take a couple of days to settle, so keep checking your bg regulary. I inject at night, usually around 7pm, but remember whatever time you chose to inject lantus, try to keep to this time each day.
