Hello,

I installed the Juggluco app a week ago. Last Sunday I needed a new sensor (Libre 2), what did I do:
1. Changed the sensor (backside upperarm).
2. Activate the sensor with the Libre app and wait for 60 minutes ;) Can I also activate it with Juggluco??
3. Scanned the sensor with Juggluco.

When I used Juggluco on the previous sensor, all was fine, but now I had connection troubles. These troubles continued for about a day. I restarted the phone, in settings-> off/on BT, etc. Shut down the Libre app, Nearby option is off.
Since yesterday evening the connection is stable. My feeling is that the BT connections fails if more than 1 app is trying to connect to the sensor.

The big question is: the above way the way to act?
Can I scan with Libre scan without getting into trouble? (If I scan, my wife is getting a notification)
Also I need to keep the hospital informed via LibreView
In Juggluco the tic-box LibreView is set. That seems to work. Hope the hospital is getting data ....

How to avoid pitfalls?
Penny for your thoughts folks.

Thanks, Marten

1. Libre Link must/should have alarms off.
2. Start new sensor with LL.
3. Wait 60 mins.............
4. Scan with LL - well I do anyway for comparison against a finger prick 10 minutes ago:-)
5. Immediately scan with Juggluco - you'll get a dialogue about new sensor and calendar entry
6. Wait and it should connect. I have had it connect almost immediately, and take up to 30 mins. Sometimes I get impatient and stop/start the app, BT, phone - never found a pattern to it though.

Running both together is fine. I've been doing it for best part of a year. I would question having the the box ticked in Jug, if you run LL too as I imagine you'll get the data doubled up. Not tried it so don't know. Just depends how clever LL is when it gets a duplicate record(s).

Thank you, more or less the way I did it when I started with Juggluco.
If you say that you ran the LL app, does it also mean scanning the sensor, or just having it on the background.
I am not scanning with the LL app, so I can find out tomorrow if the hospital received the data. Including insulin quantities.

I reality I guess a better description is I use LL as if it were the only app, as I enter all the other stuff (carbs, insulin, exercise) here, and just use Jug for glancing at current BG, often just the lock screen. So mu use of scans is much reduced, maybe 10 a day, but a million glances at Jug!!

You can check the data by logging in to LibreView and taking a squint. Very comprehensive. Also download your data in raw view to get an idea of what the data consists of. It's a CSV file, a lot of it too, so may be a bit daunting but hey, what's to lose?

No. I'm so used to LL and I felt Jug a bit clunky to enter the other data. Also, and probably most important, the feature wasn't in the app when I started using it!
