Huge different fasting reading

I just woke up at 6 o’clock and immediately do finger test, it shows 8.2, then i prepared go to work and back to office by bus at 9 o’clock, tested again. It shows 5.7. Both fasting but huge different reading.

Which one is represented my real fasting reading?

Only one of them is the fasting level, which is when you woke up. If 8.2 is unusual, then I would of retested, but made sure hands were clean before testing. It's not uncommon for strips to throw out inaccurate numbers at times.

yes, it is unusual. I always prick my finger at 7-9am when I wake up. it never been that high above 7. But I found when prick at early morning like 6 . It always stay high.
