I was so pleased to read this T2 guy has done so well with his weight loss, spurred on by his T2 diagnosis. I hope he's on this forum, or at least manages to find us for support with on going maintenance .

I'm hoping that perhaps somewhere there's an organisation, perhaps a Diabetes charity that can help fund the surgery he so greatly deserves.

Had to check the date of this, pretty sure I've seen this lad written about before.

Fair play, I could do with losing another 9 stone myself and this sort of thing worries me a bit.
 


Just a heads up that forum rules on soliciting mean that we can't link to any such fundraising page here, however deserving.
I hope he manages to get the operation done though.
 
Wow! The photos are quite something indeed. Poor guy! About 15kg worth of excess skin - if memory serves. Ouch! Such a shame that he can't get the surgery on the state, and yes, a private fund is a great idea.
