Hi,

My mum is on this insulin twice a day but quite often doesn’t want to eat an evening meal so I’m not sure if she should inject her evening dose. I’m thinking no but then she won’t have the long acting part of the insulin. Any advice?

I suggest that she talks to her diabetic nurse. Perhaps if she explains they might give her separate long and short acting insulins.

Does she have lows after taking her dose and not eating?
