Ok, I have posted a long time ago about my sugars being totally out of control....
To fix this I have now started a new insulin, on prescription from my nurse.
I was on NovoRapid and Levimir, and these wernt working, I was having 60 units at a time! Insane... Anyway I'm now on Humalog Mix 25 so I only have to have 2 injections a day, which is nicer than 4+. But It takes ages to react and is slow to bring my sugars down, by this I mean it takes 8 hours or so before it wears off and even when I eat a salad it doesnt bring my sugar down? Im confused and wondering if there is anyone else who is using it and could give some advice?
