Told this had been discontinued and was switched to Novomix 30. Not getting on with it at all - wrong mix - control has gone to pot. The list of insulins available in UK (elsewhere on this website) implies it's still available. Was it not withdrawn after all? Anybody still using it? Wud love to go back on it and get in control again.

Hello :)

As far as I know, Lilly produce a biphasic mix called Humalog Mix 50. Maybe you could use that?
 
Thanks iHs and Sarah Q. I'll look at both options. As a new member, great to have this forum for bouncing ideas and queries. :)
 
as iHs mentions you can get humalog mix 50, the fast acting bit will be faster than you are used to with mixtard 50 but pretty similar to the fast acting part of novomix.. this insulin can be given 2-3 times a day
