Can humidity cause blood levels to drop dramatically. I was visiting a Zoo on Sunday and after visiting the reptile house and then entering the desert house had a severe reaction. I lost the use of my legs followed by by eyesight going and breathing funny and thrashing around. It was the most frightening thing I have ever experienced and need help to avoid again. An ambulance was called but luckily a member of the public started making me drink a sugary drink and put me in the recovery position. I am usually hypo aware but I can only presume it just bottomed out very quickly.

Sorry, can't offer any advice - just sympathy. Sounds really frightening and not surprised you want to avoid a repeat.

Im having the same problem with my sugars at the moment, constant lows then highs, its best to keep hydrated as much as possible and to eat a little throughout meals to keep you going when its hot
