This going to sound weird but I think I am having a hyper! I have been diabetic for 25 years but never had one. My level is 11.5 before food. I feel light headed, thirsty, tired, headache and had 2 nose bleeds. I've eaten and taken my medication. Any suggestions?

Hi did you ever find a reason for this cause I have had a few episodes the same. My doc said its the diabetes but I've never been sure!

i ate a piece of christmas cake the other day and i only went to 14 and couldnt keep my eyes open, im assuming that was the effect of high bgs, hen i was bg 25 i never had any symptons at all apart from thirst, i suppose my body is used to being 3-5 all the time
