Anybody with hyprtension? My T1 diab daughter has been under meds for hypertension for a more than a month but her bp just stays on 130-140/90-100. Are these normal? her sugars are pretty controlled witj a few spikes here n there. Does bp undrr meds normalize fast or does it take time? Wud appreciate any feedback. Thanks!

Normal bp readings are 140/80 or below, for people with diabetes complications like diabetic retinopathy/nephropathy they prefer the figure to be nearer 130/70.

The drugs do take time to work but not sure on the timescale, if concerned get her to go back to her Dr's and discuss things.
