I know that the coldsweat hypo alarms are not 100% guaranteed but what is the general experience of them?

I can find two at the moment .. by Medpage and by Health & Care.co.uk ..

are there others (in the UK)?

Hi discokid and welcome. :)

I assume that your child is T1? :? If you put full information on the User Profile it will help us to help you. 8)

Hopefully there will be parents of other T1 children along soon. :)

Don't want to go into too much detail ,,

Child is type 1 adult ..

recently two night time hypo's and emergency services called ..

so looking for hypo alarm with some reputation for doing the job it is sold to do.

Hello again :)

Sorry I can't help as I am T2 but hopefully someone will come along soon. I doubt that your T1 child will work out you are you as this is quite anonymous - so don't worry. 8)

Hope that everything will get sorted out for your family really soon as I know that worrying about your children can be worse than worrying about yourself somehow. :)

Before you spend a huge amount of money on a sweat alarm, have a look at this first

http://www.diabetes.co.uk/diabetes-forum/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=4299&p=27714&hilit=Hyp+Al#p27714

All sweat alarms work on the same principle so the above will work.

The link on the site no longer works .. but thanks anyway
