Hypo had no warning sign

Good evening everyone,
does anyone know if viagra can cause a hypo without warning signs? My husband is type 1 diabetic and has just started using viagra, he took a 50mg dose but got called out. Whilst driving he had a hypo with no warning signs and had a crash, thankfully nobody else was involved and he escaped without injury.He has now had his licence revoked and is unable to work as he needs to be able to drive. He normally has very good warning signs except on this occasion!

Any advice would be appreciated.
 
I could not find any interactions between Viagra and insulin BNF61 :?:
its regularly given to diabetic men

Is he on any other Medication :?:
As some other medication can have very serious side effects ?

Are you 100% sure it was a hypo ? Was his BG taken at the time ?
how did come out of the hypo?

If he is on any other medication ask your chemist for any know side effects with Viagra
or have a look yourself on the BNF61
