Hello I understand where you are coming from. My x experienced similar things. He only had hypo feelings, when he had them sugar was all that could calm his shakes. He has collapsed from it to. He has ever test going. He has put his down to he does a lot of intense sport and he thinks it's that. Since doing a gi diet he has found he isn't having so many issues. He sticks to only medium g I food as its a diet to regulate the income and impact of sugar/carbs on your body engergy level. He finds this balances him. I don't know if that helps but diet of how quick and slow energy is released in your body might help
Do have a look at the same link that Brunneria has posted above. How wendolph if it helps there is a condition for people who struggle to keep from hypos but not diabetic. I believe he is going through testing at moment
I know how you feel about the double the age feeling. Do t know if it helps maybe a shopping list for your doctor could help of what you would liked check why and what it means to get it done. Probably I am guessing mYbe done that houThats the thing as I have hypothyroidism, never checked if its hashimotos. Thyroid throws things out of whack. I defo need dr to define whats up with my blood. Dont want any more damage to my body. I feel double my age.
I'm not going to rule out thyroid conditions but your bloods do show that you have probably a form of Hypoglycaemia. The panic attacks and the lots of different symptoms, a list as long as my arm. You do need to have something to take the docs for a referral, as an endocrinologist does both conditions. You need to record all that you eat and drink and your blood glucose results, he then will have something to work on!As soon as my gp said its panic attacks and have my periods stopped I changed gp. 1st appointment next week. I feel like a hypochondriac sometimes. I asked for my thyroid, vitamins and arthritis check and he said lets check this first..... Basically in December i woke with one knee not bending straightening, going to physio since and its mostly better now but other knee grinding possibly early osteoarthritis. Thats when I discovered low vitD causing my muscles to not hold the joints, yet fine in October. Bizarre I had to ask for the vitamin test as they refused to test for ms and other muscle disorders. Luckily on the mend.
dito! I have had terrible sleep problems for ages! I struggle to stay awake often and have asked for tests. I am finding these are the best doctors if you want referrals or test done new doctors to the surgery or locus because they don't have other stuff to considerAs soon as my gp said its panic attacks and have my periods stopped I changed gp. 1st appointment next week. If you ever feel like again perhaps ring an ambulance as it sounds justified and the worse they can do is say no. Especially if you say suspected diabetic that way your not ruling it out but am being honestYeah, as im logging the blood levels I'm writing time of day and how long since eaten, what I've eaten and how I'm feeling. the mild attacks are bad enough, im just glad i caught a proper hypo. A couple of months ago I had a long drive to the family holiday, ate my usual sweets, didnt eat when we got there, walked around exploring with the family. got back to make dinner and suddenly I had the worse attack ever. Shaking, brain fog etc came on quick, i went for a lie down as i had no energy, i just lay there like a zombie, couldn't sleep, couldn't move, even when my daughter came to check on me i couldn't raise an arm or talk. That scared me. I wish I'd owned a meter then. Even to make my family aware. If I'd seen my diabetic father in that state i would've called an ambulance but me being 'normal' its put down to tiredness. Scary.
