hypo unawareness and driving licence

Does anyone know how long it takes to get your licence back if it is revoked for hypoglycaemia unawareness? (from when you are confirmed to have recovered your awareness?)
Also how is hypoglycaemia unawareness assessed, do they say that if you don't realise you are hypo until x level, that is unawareness? Of course, full unawareness would mean unconciousness and presumably death if no help was available, so most people become aware before that happens, when do they draw the line between aware and non aware when judging this?
Thanks

My HCP's wanted to see all hypo's above 3.8!! But whether that is an official guideline.. Who knows?
They don't want to see any levels under 3.8.

My HCP's did not realise that when they saw levels under 4 on my cgm, that my blood were hugely higher.
They did not realise that the cgm navigator can give false low readings at night...and they even took these into account when looking at my levels and threatening my licence constantly. In the end I ended up testing my blood on all the lower cgm readings to orove that when it read 3.7 I would be in the 5's up to 7's.

I know it is a bit of a ramble above, but to be honest I would also like you want to know what levels they deem as hypo unawareness.

As far as I'm concerned it is if I need assistance... I haven't, and I always self treat any hypo's.

I also find it annoying as my hospital hba1c test was so much lower than my gp one ( gp was artery- hospital finger test). So if consultants can write reports on finger test hba1c's and they are lower on finger tests, that too doesnt give much hope either....my HCP at hospital wanted hba raised higher than 6.6. My gp hba came in at 7.2.. Hospital was 6.5!!

As my consultants are so insistent at getting such levels it does make me fear their reports when my licence is up for renewal!!!

It would be great to see what the official guidelines are!!!
