Hypo

You should only get a true hypo if you are under 4 mmol/l. If you are body is used to much higher glucose levels recently then you may experience a false hypo at normal glucose levels such as 4.5 mmol/l. If so this should stop in a couple of weeks as your body adjusts to operating under normal/lowered glucose levels.

Another possibility is that the meter is not accurate enough to record you actual level which is in fact less than 4 not 4.5

Not everyone can sence their individual Hypo at the same level. Generally a Hypo is considered as being at or below 4.0 mmol/L (Plasma)
Some test meter are notoriously inaccurate (some by as much as 10%) so check the obvious first.
That the meter is correctly calibrated and isn't preset to record/display FULL BLOODS instead of PLASMA levels.
