I produce too much insulin if I eat above 10-15gms of carbs in any meal.
I am ill if I produce too much insulin, because fluctuating blood glucose levels cause symptoms.
If I hyper, I will go hypo.
So to avoid both I on purpose eat below 20gms of carbs per day!
This keeps me healthy.
I have been in ketosis, as being in continuous normal blood glucose range, burning muscle fat instead of carbs as my energy source, for nearly four years.
If you are hypoglycaemic, you will have to find out what is causing it.
If you haven't get a referral to an endocrinologist who has the knowledge concerning Hypoglycaemia.
I would advise keeping a food diary and testing and experimentation until you discover what you can eat and more importantly what to avoid.
If you need help, please ask.
Best wishes
