Hi

I am newly diagnosed and I am currently on insulin only with my evening meal. My question is, can I have a hypo say before lunch the next day or is it just for the 4 hours after I have injected insulin?

That will depend on what type of insulin it is, do you know what it's name is?
There are fast acting insulins that last about 4-5 hours but there are also slow acting ones that depending on which they are can last 18 hours, 24 hours or 36 hours (give or take)
 
Hi, its Novorapid (fast acting). Not on any others as yet
